Immigration services

Certificate of residence

Certifies the residence or is not a citizen, whether by professional interests, economic or social.

NIE

The Identification number for Foreigners (NIE) must be requested by the foreigners, that is to say, citizens do not spaniards, who, by their interests, economic, professional or social, are related to Spain.

TIE

The Foreigner Identity Card (TIE) certifies the legality of the situation abroad in Spain.

Residence card of a family member of a citizen of the Union

The family of a citizen of the European Union or of a Spanish citizen or of another State party to the Agreement on the European Economic area or Switzerland must get this card when you get together with the family or to accompany him, in addition to not show the nationality of any of the States of the Union when the stay in Spain to go to be more than three months.

Green card for citizens of the European Union

Statistics on migration flows

According to the INE (National Statistics Institute) in the press release published in June 2022:

The population of Spain increased in 34.110 people during 2021 and stood in 47.432.805 inhabitants as of 1 January 2022.

The Region of Murcia (0,63%), Comunitat Valenciana (0,50%) and Canarias (0,36%) experienced the greatest population growth.

A total of 530.401 people from other countries fixed their residence in our country (13.4% more than in 2020)

The positive migration balance of 148.677 people offset the natural balance of negative 113.023 people.
